Notice how: A) Our
Ultimate Racers Rivet clamps tight and completely fills the
extremely oversized hole. B) The "exploding" rivet ONLY grasp on three
points of the hole, leaving over a third of the hole unfilled and subject to
loose clamp. C) The three sharp blade of the "exploding" rivet may collect
mud and dirt when Dirt Track running, adding unwanted weight to the car. D)
Using a pliers, grasp and apply side to side pressure to the back-side of
the set rivets. You'll find the "exploding" rivet will loosen up, while our
Ultimate Rivet will hold in place even if back-side is snapped off. E) Our
Ultimate Rivets will never leave an exposed nail out the finished side. F)
NO back-up washer is required when using our Ultimate Rivets.

Cordless Rivet Tools:
The aDP Rivet cordless rivet tools are the perfect rivet setting tool
when there's no power nearby. These aDP modified cordless drills set rivets
easily and without compressed air or electricity. Unlike other drill
attachments, the aDP tool only needs one hand to operate as the mechanism is
an integral part of the cordless drill and works by using the drills forward
and reverse buttons. It's the perfect tool for trackside and pit repairs.
These tools are capable of setting hundreds of rivets per charge including
the ULTIMATE RACERS RIVETS. Tools come with nosepieces for 1/8", 5/32" and
3/16" diameter rivets.
Race Car Rivets, Racing Rivets, and/or colored Race Car blind rivets are for all circle
asphalt and/or dirt track
model cars.
Available in 1/8” and 3/16” diameters and offer material combinations:
Aluminum rivet body in both dome or large head form with aluminum nail, OR
the more popular steel nail. We offer more sizes and colors than any other
manufacturer.
COSTS LESS than “exploding” type rivets.
• Ultimate hole-filling performance with backside upset typically over
9/32”, (0.281) easily plugs oversized
holes, which means in most cases, NO BACK-UP WASHER NEEDED!
• Ultimate Multi-use rivet works on oversized holes up to 15/64” (0.235) up
to 1/4” (0.250) material thickness.
The recommended drill size is #11, ( 0.192 up to 0.196 inches hole) up to
3/8” (0.375) material thickness.
• Ultimate clamp-up performance and tight sets with its multi-grip backside
upset form and high strength steel
nail. This rivet is much stronger than the “exploding” type rivet and costs
much less.
• Ultimate nail head retention with little chance of premature nail breaks,
or sticking out nails.
• Quick and easy drill out as drill only needs to break the head to shank
connection and the rest of the rivet
will push out since the nail head is within the backside upset, (see
diagram/photo).
